Cardiology is the study and treatment of the heart, its action and diseases. Cardiology procedures performed at Eastside include:
- Exercise Treadmill tests
- EKGs (also known as ECG-electrocardiograms)
- Nuclear Stress tests
- Cardiac Catheterization
- Cardiac Ultrasounds or Echocardiograms
- Trans-Esophageal Echo-Cardiogram (TEEs)
- Coronary Angioplasty - PCI (or angioplasty) is a common non-surgical procedure used to restore blood flow to blocked arteries of the heart.
