Caregiver Support Groups

The Caregiver Support Group meets monthly on the second Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Boardroom at the Heritage Center and are facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Caring for someone with a chronic mental illness or dementia is a long and difficult journey. The Caregiver Support Group attendees receive support from others who understand the demands and challenges of providing ongoing care.
At the meetings, the facilitator provides resources so the caregivers can continue to care for themselves while caring for their loved ones. Accessing resources enables caregivers to continue to define positive aspects of caring and reduce negative pressures.
Our clinical team can assess the severity of the problem and recommend a course of action at no charge. Please call 770-985-6470 to speak with a member of our team now.
