Cardiac Rehab
Cardiac Rehab is defined as “a structured, inter-disciplinary program of supervised activity, progressive exercises, psychological support and patient education designed to enable attainment of maximum function capacity by patients who have experienced a myocardial infarction”.
The Cardiac Rehab program teaches the patient to use mental skills/attitude, exercise, good food choices and self care to return to the highest quality of life after having a heart attack.
