Breast and Diagnostic Center

Our fully digital state-of-the-art Breast and Diagnostic Center is staffed by six board-certified radiologists, three of whom are interventional radiologists and one that specializes in mammography. Our goal is to make the entire experience pleasant and worry-free for both patients and their families.

Mammography

A mammogram is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses x-ray technology to diagnose breast cancer. Annual mammograms and monthly self-exams are recommended for your health and early detection, and for women 40 and above, we recommend a yearly screening mammogram.

Every woman should discuss her family history and risk factors with her physician. Breast self-exams should be performed monthly. An annual breast exam by your physician is also recommended.

Where: Confirm the location of your test – Breast and Diagnostic Center located at the Eastside Physician Center or Loganville Digital Imaging Center

What to bring: Physician written order – if prior mammograms were performed at a different facility, you should bring previous films with you for comparison

How to prepare for the procedure: The day of your mammogram, please do not use lotion, powders or perfumes in the breast area. You may wear underarm deodorant.

To schedule your mammogram appointment, call Central Scheduling at 888-843-8133.
