Bone Densitometry or Dexa Scan is a non-invasive procedure that measures the density or porosity of bones. This painless procedure is useful in diagnosing the onset or progression of osteoporosis or other diseases that result in the thinning of the bone. The Breast Center provides Dexa Scan along with other specialized ultrasound procedures.
