iPhone Physician Set-Up

Initial Preparation:

Each thin client user must simplified remote access (SRA)

  1. SRA security questions can be answered on the iPhone but may recommend those be set from a PC prior to attempting connection on the iPhone.

  2. Pop-ups must be turned off on the iPhone:
    • Choose Settings application
    • Tap Safari
    • Turn Block Pop-ups off 

  3. Clear cache and Cookies is recommended:
    • Choose Settings application
    • Clear cookies
    • Clear Cache

  4. Open web session will need to be closed:
    • Open Safari
    • Located in bottom right of screen is a box that may contain a numerical value
    • Tap that box
    • Tap Red X to delete that web session

Connection:

  1. Open Safari

  2. hCare can be accessed via WiFi or AT&T 3g Network

  3. Type:  www.tristarhcare.com

  4. Once the user gets the SRA sign in page tap the (+) at the bottom of the page:
    • Create a link to Home Screen
    • Rename hCare

  5. Sign in using the hCare userid and password

  6. Allow pop-up

  7. Sign in next token will appear- no action needed

  8. PK Mobile Browser - no action needed

  9. hCare opens

  10. On initial use, user profile may have to be selected:
    • Tap Go
    • Select appropriate profile needed

Trouble Shooting:

  1. On the initial load the iPhone may require the end user to sign into the gateway page several times

  2. Clear cache and cookies may be required after the user had several failed attempts

  3. Closing out multiple web sessions may be required to reconnect

  4. Length of time out can be set from the iPhone:
    • Choose settings application
    •  Tap General
    •  Adjust Auto-Lock settings
